Families of deployed service members from D-M will be served dinner, April 1 from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
With 1,100 Airmen deployed from D-M, the base is focusing on taking care of families affected. This dinner is hosted through the Airman and Family Readiness Center, which offers a few events each month that give parents an opportunity to connect with other deployed families for support.
The AFRC holds many events to support those left behind such as a monthly 'Give Parent's A Break', which is 4 hours of free childcare, a welcome home banner night and various other community field trips.
